There were just a few people there and we were all spaced far apart. It was quiet, and stayed that way all night. Upon waking I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty campground next to a lake with beautiful trees and everyone had gone. I cooked breakfast on over a fire, ate under a sheltered picnic table and took a walk around the grounds. There is a porta potty there that was fairly clean. In all, it was a great experience and best of all FREE!

Great dry campsite - totally free, be sure to reserve online first!

Portapotties are older but really clean, relatively speaking, and well stock. Campsites are spacious and numerous. There is even a playground along with the regular amenities of covered picnic tables, firepits, bbqs, launch. I saw turkey vultures and wild pigs.

Nice little free campground, outhouses were a bit dirtier than I would have liked and even with plenty of trashcans there was some litter. Overall quiet with good night skies

Will not stay there anymore because there are two many people living there and not camping

We have always enjoyed our stay at the campground. The last stay was not as well maintained. There were a noticeable amount of different types of spider webs in toilet and bathing facility. We are patiently waiting to be able to walk the wooden trail. The staff are very friendly and knowlegdable about the area, especially Mr. Robinson. We daily swim in clean, clear pool. The grounds are well kept. Nice fishing area. The fees are very reasonable. Since we regularly visit AL, we will definitely stay at River Delta again.

This landing does not flood, the slope is shallow and the water deep enough for most fishing boats. Bathrooms are clean, picnic benches are available with a nice nature walk. Everyone treated our dogs and us with respect and were friendly.

Located 100 yds or so off I65 the traffic noise is quite high. The big draw must be the marina and boat ramps. Has a couple of decent public restrooms and showers, outdoor pool and a playground for the kiddos. Sites have gravel and somewhat level. Armed security guard checks you in and out. We stopped for 1 night and that will be enough for us. Not our type of campground.

Great place to go for a Boat ride. The launch fee I think was $3.00. I know it was not over $5.00.

Nice park. Good fishing but unfortunately I think it will be closed down soon unless they get another million dollar grant to fund the employees and upkeep. They'll never redo the board walk if that's what your interested in, and they're about to get rid of bait & tackle. It's a "recreational park" that nobody goes to.
