Grant was an amazing host and went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I that were staying there. We went for Thanksgiving and he was so kind to invite us to his family’s dinner and offer for us to stay an extra night for free. He was super helpful as well with helping us haul firewood, giving us a grill to cook over the fire with, and even offering us his pots and pans that he said he would was... Grant was an amazing host and went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I that were staying there. We went for Thanksgiving and he was so kind to invite us to his family’s dinner and offer for us to stay an extra night for free. He was super helpful as well with helping us haul firewood, giving us a grill to cook over the fire with, and even offering us his pots and pans that he said he would wash for us after we were done with them. The land was beautiful and waking up in the morning to a view of cows peacefully grazing across from us against the backdrop of the mountains was amazing. I cannot recommend staying here enough and would love to come back. The Walls of Jericho hike was gorgeous and one of my favorite hikes so far. The waterfalls were stunning and the water is perfect for swimming in when the weather is warmer. There’s also some cool caves for exploring along the way.

This is truly God's country. The view is absolutely amazing first of all. The owner Grant is one of those men you may only come across once in a lifetime. He has changed my wifes and I opinion on how much people don't care about other people these days. You just don't come across people like him anymore. Please, please if you are traveling through the area looking for a campsite or RV hookup call... This is truly God's country. The view is absolutely amazing first of all. If he doesn't, he will call back. I promise you that, because he did it for us. Beautiful land, quiet, very clean grounds, very reasonable priced. You will be missing some of the most gorgeous views and amazing people if you pass up the opportunity.

My son and I were on a “father & son” road trip in our VW camper van and came across this place. I called and talked to Grant and we was SO accommodating and welcoming. We showed up late that night and he was such a blessing on our trip. We felt like it was visiting good family. I am excited to see how Grant continues to develop the land. Bama is a great little start up RV park that is family owned and very friendly. We stayed several days, but due to weather, was only able to explore 1 day. We found the yurt and a rock overhang, but didn't go back into the tent camping trails; maybe next time. We'd stay there again, when we go back to AL. They have a dog run, but it gets really soggy and muddy when it rains, otherwise, very dog f... Bama is a great little start up RV park that is family owned and very friendly.
