Cool quaint campground near the water. Great little camping spot especially if you like to hike or ride bikes on the 15 mile trail they have.

I would not suggest going into the water at Longleaf, but for simple camping it is quiet and away from other campsites. Many bugs as usual.

Finally found the Florida trail again. It passes through this part of the park. Its obvious that it's still under construction. However someone must have camped in this area because there was a fire in o e of the fire pits.

I only stay here when in town business. The rooms are decent and the staff is extremely courteous. They recently renovated and added hardwood floors in the rooms. The TVs are rather small, but the rooms are spacious. Its also in a remote quiet area away from all the traffic, but close enough to drive for necessities. Its an OK lodge for the cost.

Was at an event at this hotel this weekend. The staff was wonderful! Real first class folks. They went out of their way to insure that we had everything we needed. We used the beautiful outdoor pavilion in the pool area for our evening get together and HIGH STAKES poker tournament. (I hear that the champion cleared almost a four dollar overage when all was said and done. ) The rooms were spotless... Was at an event at this hotel this weekend. The staff was wonderful! The WiFi was adeviate for our needs. Our group has been there before and is planning a return soon. The Alabama Brigade and her brigadeers are most thankful.

9/5/2020: Terrible. 3 families made reservations for labor day weekend to stay at the long leaf and ride the MTB trails. We arrive and are told there are no rooms and no check-ins. Employee on duty refused to contact management or owner. This is completely unacceptable. Now we are all stuck teeing to get our money back and had to get rooms in town 12 miles away. Vacation for three families: RUINED... 9/5/2020: Terrible. 3 families made reservations for labor day weekend to stay at the long leaf and ride the MTB trails. Only trip any of us has been on since we were at this hotel in March. Old review: was 5 starsThis hotel is seriously amazing. I typically hate hotel experiences preferring Airbnb, but this place felt like home. Huge rooms with kitchen areas including stove and fridge, dining table, sofa, and two beds. Very clean and quaint, staff was awesome to deal with. Would stay again if in the area

Nice place with a military vibe and feeling. Spent many nights here while I was in the police academy several years back. Spent many exhausted nights there after coming back in the room from the military style law enforcement basic training and this place was just so comfortable. The staff was always kind, especially after I had been yelled at all day by the academy instructors lol. I highly recom... Nice place with a military vibe and feeling.
