We had such a great stay at All About Relaxing RV Park in Mobile. From the moment we arrived, Jimmy made us feel right at home. His personality is warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind — the type of host who clearly takes pride in making sure every guest feels comfortable and taken care of. One of the things we really appreciated was how personalized the campsites are. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making each space feel inviting and comfortable rather than just another parking spot. It adds a nice touch that makes the whole place feel more like a community than just an RV park. The grounds are kept in excellent condition. Everything is clean, organized, and clearly well maintained. There are several benches and hammock areas scattered around the property where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. Two huge covered patio areas provide great places to sit and unwind, and the giant dog park is fantastic if you’re traveling with pets. The swimming pool area is very nice as well, and the park also has clean bathrooms, showers, and laundry facilities that make longer stays easy and comfortable. Up front, the clubhouse has all kinds of games and amenities, and even a pickleball court which adds a fun social element for guests who want to stay active. Overall, this is one of the better RV parks we’ve stayed at. It’s a small, quiet park that feels very relaxed while still offering great amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we come to visit family in Mobile.

Very poor business practices. We made reservations for a pull thru site about a week in advance just to get there around 3pm to find they only had back in site. So we had to find another RV park. The RV office attendant blames it on the male owner wondering "why he does that?" knowing they didn't have one. The RV office attendant blames it on the male owner wondering "why he does that?" knowing they didn't have one. Then I look at my credit card account online and they charged me $70.66, but only refunded me $68.60 because I used a "credit card instead of cash." I was never offered the choice. Once again, "owners fault." I know it's only $2.06, and they "do it everywhere for processing fee." Well no they don't. We have been around the USA 3 times getting ready to go for the 4th, and they all DON'T!! Any way think twice before going here or read all small print and ask all questions. Money is money if you're getting cheated out of it. 5x👎

My travel trailer's first trip was a holiday weekend stay at All About Relaxing RV Park! 🚐 It's a truly gorgeous campground, and the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome. I was lucky to grab the last spot and I'll definitely be returning! 🏕️☀️

Very nice park. Clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean and private. Each stall had a toilet, shower and sink and had plenty of room. Did not use the pool or sitting areas, but they looked nice and were clean. The pads were level and wide. The picnic tables and the landscaping were top notch. They have obviously been taken care of. The owners were friendly and welcoming. My only draw back... Very nice park. Clean and well maintained. Bathrooms were clean and private. My only draw back was the neighbor had two dogs that heard the door open and would bark nonstop while we were outside or when someone would walk by. I now know why places restrict pets being left alone in a trailer. I would recommend this park and will be using it next trip to Florida.

Our Michigan based family of six stayed at the campground over Christmas break. We love to stay at state parks in Michigan and were hoping for a similar experience in Alabama. We love to stay at state parks in Michigan and were hoping for a similar experience in Alabama. I’d say it was close to 80% retirees with very few children- which was fine for the most part. It did seem like tolerance for kids was about 50% with a general crankiness level. Some seemed to have a scowl on their faces when we passed or said hello. The bike trails were great and the park was kept in great shape with its pickleball courts, and bath houses. The park beaches and beach facilities were beautiful, as well as the pier. The nature center was awesome. On our trip down to Alabama, we spoke with someone who mentioned the state parks had increased their prices not long ago. Probably a reflection of that- but all of the campers seemed to be in tip top shape. We booked this state park due to its heated pool. With kids ages 1, 3, 5 and 9, swimming is a huge part of our vacations. Upon arriving, the pool was 64 degrees. We figured this was due to cold nights, and several park staff members confirmed this on separate occasions. On our third or fourth day there, we finally spoke to a staff member who told us that a pipe had broken and the heater wasn’t working, apparently the plumber was not answering. My kids still took quick dips in the pool, but it did not last long because they were so cold. I’m not sure if it was lack of communication or transparency, but I would have appreciated knowing that the heater wasn’t working. I probably would have booked another campground, or moved us somewhere else. Of note, our campsite had multiple fire ant hills, which I realize are a part of life here. Giving a rating of 3/5 for the campground due to generally heightened crankiness level of campers, and lack of communication regarding the pool heater being broken.

Great place to take the family!! We booked a cottage on the lake for the week and had a blast!! The service is top notch - great breakfast every morning was included, they refilled our firewood each day for that nights' campfire fun, fishing off the dock was fruitful and seeing all the wildlife was just a huge cherry on top!! Will definitely be back!!

This park is wonderful. The sites are spacious and easy to access. The campground was nearly full when we were there the second week in June, but it didn't feel overcrowded. Our site was in the middle of the campground, and this gave us easy access to the pool, the lake, and the beach. The entire area is extremely well maintained and clean. The bathhouse was updated, very clean, and plenty of water pressure for a shower. We ended up adding an additional night, but we had to move sites as ours wasn't available. The campground manager allowed us to move to the new site as soon as the previous tenants left which gave us more time at the beach. The bike and walking paths and trails are beautiful, and our ride to the beach was less than 2 miles. This was our first beach trip in our camper, so the bar has been set pretty high for future trips.

We parked across the highway at the beach. It was $10 for the day. We walked across the pedestrian bridge that goes over the highway. That was pretty cool. Then there was a long elevated board walk that we traversed before crossing a bridge over the canal into the campground. Miles of cleared trails through wooded and marshy areas. Very nice place to visit, it was a cloudy rainy day in early March... We parked across the highway at the beach. It was $10 for the day. Very nice place to visit, it was a cloudy rainy day in early March. I would love to go back during summer! Only real complaint was a lack of trash receptacles, even in the campground. I've heard this is a good place to see gators, and it is not uncommon to see venomous snakes.
