We stayed here for 3 nights during the Mardi Gras break. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful at check in. Coffee, ice cream shops, and many restaurants are in walking distance. Wal-Mart and Rouse's are just a few blocks away. The Hangout is just a few blocks away as well as public beach access. We will definitely visit here again!

The park, shower, and laundry facilities are well-maintained. Laundry services require quarters, with a wash cycle costing $2.00 for 30 minutes and drying for 60 minutes. Paid parking is available near the beach, estimated at $12.00 or $15.00 for the entire day. Free beach parking is conveniently located one short block from the Pink Pony restaurant. Many restaurants are within walking distance. Gulf State Park is also easily accessible for a bike ride. While the state park is a nice campground with a lot of amenities, it is not as centrally located. The staff members are exceptionally friendly at Luxury RV. Also, it's more adult-oriented, which I prefer. There's no playground, but there is a dog park. I would certainly consider staying here again. The only minor drawback is that the pool is open but not heated. A Walmart Superstore and a very nice supermarket, Rouses, are approximately 1 mile away.

In asking other rv'ers around if this is the normal standard they said not usually however they also agreed that it seems the bathrooms and laundry are not getting regularly cleaned and at this point need a deep cleaning. The bathrooms and the laundry machines get used often and it is sad that people don't clean up after themselves but they don't so these areas will need to be cared for regularly by owner/staff. I felt it was important to mention this because Luxury RV is not the cheapest place to stay in Gulf Shores so the amenities are part of what justifies the cost. If the amenities are not cared for then might as well go elsewhere to get what you pay for. The worst of the bathrooms/laundry was near the circle turnaround. The clubhouse we did not use.

Everything at the site was clean and worked as it should. Sites are close together, but this isn't a state park. Concrete pads and patio with hard pack sand between. Good approaches between sites for backing in. 1/3 mile walk to the large public beach. I would stay here again. We camped at Luxury RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel

It offers a pleasant 10-15 minute walk to the beach, with numerous restaurants conveniently located along the way. Paid parking is available next to the beach, and complimentary parking spaces can be found just one short block from the Pink Pony restaurant on 1st Street. The park appears to be geared towards adults, which we appreciated, as there is no playground. However, there is a small dog park and a non-heated pool. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the showers, baths, and laundry rooms are very clean. Laundry services cost $2.00 in quarters only, with a 30-minute wash cycle and a 60-minute drying cycle. Sites to the left driving in are sun and on right are some sun with shade. A Walmart and a very nice Rouses grocery store are approximately a 1-mile drive away, and Gulf State Park offers a delightful biking experience with an abundance of trails. We wholeheartedly recommend this location. To our slight disappointment, we did not encounter any cats, despite them being mentioned in other reviews. We look forward to returning.
