LaFayette is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.
Alabama weather can change quickly. Pack layers and check the forecast for LaFayette.
Don't miss local attractions near LaFayette. Ask the camp host for hidden gems and trails.

Staff is rarely on site and rude. The restrooms are locked at all times. The campground has high drug activity. In the 1 week that I stayed I'd seen a drunk guy screaming at the sky for3 hours, a renters dog attack a small child, and there's always a bum asking for rides or money. Only one dumpster, the entire campground uses, that is constantly overflowing and the odor is horrendous. I would not... Staff is rarely on site and rude. The restrooms are locked at all times. The only positive thing about the campground was that it's located by the interstate.

Everything was great no body bothered us and camp ground was clean and the pool was great. Don't trust the shower house it's a hit and miss. When the front office is working they were friendly! If you want peace and quiet this is the place and everything is close by that you need.

I read several reviews, positive and negative, and tried unsuccessfully to contact the business by phone. It seems that there is a problem with the phone system. After many attempts at various hours during posted business hours, my wife and I visited the campground. We were impressed by the clean and organized appearance. This problem surely results in lost business.

While the few large concrete pads in front are enticing, a walk around the park you realize this is mostly intended for workers and as homes for people on a budget. Someone made a mistake when running sewer lines before pouring those beautiful concrete pads: the lines are forward on the pads instead of towards the rear like most trailer valve are. It took three lengths of sewer hose to reach the pipe AND the whole thing is on a slope resulting in a very poor degree of angle. I had to carefully detach and lift the hose myself to clear the sludge. These concrete pads are at the front of the park and therefore near the road which remains busy till the early hours.

Great location! Pool is always clean and nice not a big pool but never have to worry about it not being cleaned. It’s super quiet all the time haven’t had any complaints or problems at all. Office staff is very friendly and helpful!! The hookups even come with a cable hookup that’s free. Bathhouse is always clean and the laundry room always looks clean for the amount of people here. Overall it’s... Great location! Pool is always clean and nice not a big pool but never have to worry about it not being cleaned.
