Happy campers come in each meal and share in the bounty presented to them, while enjoying the bonds fellowship that can only felt at camp. The climbing tower stands out like a as a lone sentinel daring those scouts with unshakable resolve to climb her. The ecology lodge sits quietly on the shores of the mighty lake cross. It's classrooms reminiscent of the laboratory of the great Richard Dawkins and the private study of Charles Darwin. The waterfront puts Sea Base to shame it has no rival on this earth the joy felt there is beyond words. I wish I can say more about this camp but the English language has not yet evolved to the point where the emotions felt by a mere visit can be described with any semblance of accuracy.

This camp is a wonderful place to spend your summer vacation. I spent a week down here, and it was beautiful. The lake is clean and shimmers as the waves of the sun beat down on the lake. The food here is not the best, is better than most BSA summer camps, but is still ok. They have a waterslide that may look small, like it would end, and be over fast, but it is really fun. The staff is so friendly and this is a beautiful piece of land. Have fun.

I cannot recall any time during my growing up years that I was not involved in Scouting in some capacity. Either Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts or Brownie Scouts and Girl Scouts or Explorer Scouts. I have made situpons, S'mores, go carts, candles, pine needle baskets derby cars and produced radio programs by the dozens... All of it was tremendous fun. I would do it all again if I could💙

Today, Camp Sequoia is nearly the same as it was when I was as a Scout 40 years ago. Lots of renovations to keep things up to da, but it is still largely the same! Wonderful memories of my Troop 226, led by Dr Gary Myers, my Dad Max Richard Sr, and many other highly qualified leaders!!
