If you’re looking for a quaint campground in the Pensacola area, Avalon Landing is a must-check! We had a waterfront site with stunning views of the waterway and the pelicans that would perch on the bridge nearby. The sites are all gravel, but they’re nicely leveled and have a cement pad for the supplied picnic table. The campground was pretty quiet and had a friendly vibe. There weren’t many shade trees, but there were a few palm trees near the water and some woods on the outskirts. This meant we had minimal obstructions for our Starlink dishy. The campground is dog-friendly, but they don’t have a dog run. However, the office told us we could play some off-leash fetch with our pup just outside the campground on the dirt road nearby. The bathrooms and showers were clean and great for those who needed to use them. The onsite laundry was a bit small, so we ended up using a local laundromat. Avalon Landing is conveniently located near Pensacola Beach, so you can get there easily. But it’s also far enough away that the cost is reasonable. They also make it easy to get packages delivered from Amazon or other shippers and keep the packages safely stored in the office until picked up. The office staff were all very friendly and had good suggestions for things to do in the area.

I had a good stay here. Good location outside of Pensacola but not too far. There is some highway noise, but not too bad overnight. I like the access to the water. Utilities work fine. Sites are level. There is a small, unheated pool but otherwise not a lot of amenities. WiFi can be spotty. Price is a bit high, but I still had a good stay here.

Nice quiet RV park just 2 minutes from the i10. Cool spots on the water and ours backed up to the forest. Will be back

Quiet, pleasant, with helpful staff, a great waterfront view, and constant smiles. This was our first ever “camp site”, and we are so glad we stopped here! Thank you for doing what you love! It shows! (44’ motor coach fit comfortably)

Easy location and just far enough away from beaches and attractions to avoid the craziness around them. Great level pads (gravel with concrete patio area), good water pressure, and an amazing view. Staff was wonderful with providing local information and rout suggestions. The Naval Air Museum (25 minutes away) was absolutely fantastic. Also easy to get to the Fort Pickens and the Gulf Island National Seashore - a treasure to see for sure. We stayed here in a 40ft motor home for three nights.
