Blue Heron Escape RV Resort

It is with great pleasure that i write this review, Being from Rochester NY we were a long way from Home. We were so lucky to find the Blue Heron Escape RV Resort. We were welcomed like Family and treated better than Family, Just a beautiful place and super location. Very Quiet, Comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and strong,... We were welcomed like Family and treated better than Family, Just a beautiful place and super location. Very Quiet, Comfortable. Bathrooms and showers are absolutely beautiful and exceptionally clean. Wi-Fi worked perfectly and strong, (streamed You-Tube TV with no issue. Community room is wonderful, Huge TV, Puzzles set up for everyone to work on. Comfortable furniture and plenty of tables and chairs for card games and Thursday Burger Night as well as Saturday Morning Breakfast. Laundry room is Super Clean and Super Great. Beautiful Pool that if it was warmer I would have been right in. The owners have set up all kinds of events for its guests, Mardi Gras Boat parade, Karaoke parties, Super Bowl Party, etc. The location is minutes from every restaurant you could ever dream of. It is also only 15 minutes from the most beautiful Beach I have ever seen, White Sand Galore. Just Beautiful. I know this is long but this is a super find, I Highly Recommend. The owners are wonderful people as well as all of the campers I met while there. Wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more. You will not be disappointed here.

My fiancé and I stayed for several months during summer last year (I just realized I never wrote a review). Concrete spots, great wifi, showers and bathrooms always clean, and the pool is the perfect temp (year round). Scott and Gayle are welcoming to everyone. Great people and a... This was our first stay at Blue Heron and it was a fantastic stay. The owner Scott called us on are way down to say that our welcome bag was there for us. We arrived after hours but had no problem. Was met by the camp host, she made us feel very welcome and said if we needed anything to contact her. I actually got to meet Scott the owner and told him what a great place he has. We the pool how its designed and super clean. Met a very nice couple while at the pool. We love the pull thru sites, all concrete and all services are provided. I love how the buddy spots are and are friends will be able to camp with us the next time we come down. Overall I would highly recommend this campgrounds to anyone that owns a camper. It's off the main highway which is great, so its very quiet and enjoyable. We will definitely return to camp here again. Thanks for the memories

This was a perfect place to camp for a few days on the 4th of July weekend. It was away from the hustle & bustle of beach traffic, but conveniently located near everything we were doing. The campground was clean & the Camp Host was very nice! The pool & landscaping were very pretty & clean. There was not a lot of shade at our sites (7 & 8), but it was fine.
