I travel a lot for work and stayed at Unhitched Leisure Lakes RV Park in Pensacola, Florida for several months—had a great experience overall. The locals were friendly, and I was invited to several cookouts, both by management and other residents, which really says a lot about the community here. Management was excellent—quick to address any issues and very responsive whenever something came up.... I travel a lot for work and stayed at Unhitched Leisure Lakes RV Park in Pensacola, Florida for several months—had a great experience overall. The locals were friendly, and I was invited to several cookouts, both by management and other residents, which really says a lot about the community here. Management was excellent—quick to address any issues and very responsive whenever something came up. At the same time, there’s a great atmosphere of people minding their own business, which I really appreciated. The location is fantastic. Easy access right off the main road, and 9 Mile is rarely busy. At other campgrounds in the area, leaving between 6–7 PM can be a nightmare, but here I could come and go anytime without worrying about traffic. There’s a Publix, McDonald’s, and gas station close by, and the nearby Circle K has propane for quick tank swaps. There’s plenty of space to walk, do a little fishing, and relax by the lake—great for letting your dog stretch their legs. If you want a more established walking path, the Navy Federal Credit Union park is basically right across the road. The park offers lots of site options: pull-throughs, back-ins, shaded or open sites. Management was very willing to get me set up where I wanted. Some spots are a little uneven, but the ground is solid, and spending an extra 15 minutes leveling really isn’t a big deal. Management even offered to help me level my camper every time, which was a nice touch. Good pricing, friendly neighbors, well-maintained grounds, and impressively kept grass considering how much space there is. Overall, this was a 10/10 stay for me. Every time I travel through Pensacola, this will be my go-to RV park as long as a spot is available.

Alan and his staff go above and beyond for their tenants. We’ve had our camper set up over there for over a year for our little weekend getaway on the lake. They are improving so many things at this park in adding so many things. It’s a beautiful and great place to stay. Alen and his management team are top-notch. We look to stay here for many more years.

Alan and his staff go above and beyond for their guest! My wife and I have had our RV set up here for over a year and enjoy our weekend getaways by the lake. They’re cleaning up the park so much and adding so many new things I would definitely recommend this place!

I was at my wits end had to relocate myself and my RV. I checked out at least 20 different RV places and everything was just online. No person’s to talk to you so you can ask questions. When I called leisure lakes on 9 mile road in Pensacola Florida, Allen answered and was very professional with a very kind and sincere mannerism about my situation. And kindness is what made me choose to live here.... I was at my wits end had to relocate myself and my RV. I checked out at least 20 different RV places and everything was just online. Been here a couple weeks. We're full timers and Allen, Tom, everyone in office and maintenance here is super friendly and helpful. Neighbors are quiet and park kept clean. If ya need help, it's almost always available. Much better than the last place we stayed at. Think we found our forever spot after 3yrs of looking for good places.
