We loved our stay at Lake Guntersville State Park Campground! The sites were clean and well kept, the bathhouses spotless, and the lake views were incredible. Tons of things to do… hiking, fishing, and plenty of space for the kids to play. Staff was friendly and helpful too. One of the best campgrounds in Alabama! Can’t wait to come back!

What a beautiful setting. Each campsite had full hook ups, a picnic table and fire ring. Not to mention the views of the lake. Also a nice dog park. The staff was very friendly and the senior discount much appreciated! Also a nicely equipped camp store and campfire wood available at a reasonable cost. I loved this place and hope to come back someday!

This is a beautiful and peaceful location to have a family reunion or group get together. Lots of trails and a nice pavilion next to the cabins for large get togethers. Unfortunately this year there was a large religious gathering at the pavilion with loud music, revival preaching over loud speakers and large movie screens that started in the morning and went late into the night with no regard for the other guests. This state park is not the place to hold a revival or concert or any other type of event that infringes on the other guests ability to enjoy the peace and quiet the park has to offer.

We tent camped with other families with kids we knew in the A section. This was close enough to the glamps that people who wanted to glamp could glamp instead. There were outlets & water at every site. The bathhouse was functional and easily accessible, and the beach was a short walk away, as were the dumpsters. (Hey--that's important!) The turn to the A loop could be better marked. (It's the 1st... We tent camped with other families with kids we knew in the A section. (It's the 1st one. Says B.) The little store has ice and fire wood, though it can be found cheaper on your way to the campground. Overall a good experience.

Terrible service and accommodatioms for RVs travelers. Park Rangers do not know the law, I've witness them make arrests without confirming cause and the office did not comply with justice, completely corrupt area, very shabby looking besides the view, very unsafe to be in due to the usual population nearby and still the law is to be fair for all including those with authority. I would not recommend for more than a day.
