Stayed a while back but wanted to leave a review on how lovely my stay was! My partner and I stayed in a cabin for a night just to have a in-town getaway, detaching from the city and technology but not completely MIA. The cabin was easy to get to, even after dark, and it had all the essentials. The best part was the sun rise in the morning looking out the mountain side. Definitely recommend it!

What a lovely campground. The fall leaves weren't changing color but they sure were rustling. The temp on the "mountain" was about 10 degrees cooler than in town. The hiking trails were well marked and included walkers and mountain bikers. The view to the valley floor were very pretty. We camped in buddy site 78 and had reserved the pavilion for our group. There were plenty of picnic tables... What a lovely campground. The fall leaves weren't changing color but they sure were rustling. We camped in buddy site 78 and had reserved the pavilion for our group. There were plenty of picnic tables, a stone fireplace, and lots of outlets for plugging in crockpots. The camp store had a few basic necessities as well as some souvenir gear. The staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean. The planetarium was a fun little perk. The campsites were well marked and flat. We will be back!

This is one of the best state parks I've been at across the country. The campgrounds are nice with clean bathrooms and hot water, lots of great hiking trails, and a cute Japanese tea garden trail. There's other things to like the disc golf course that I didn't try any of those. I highly recommend staying here!

Cabins are great . Book your reservation thru the MSSP . They have a store in the office . Plenty of campsites too across from the office. Rangers are very nice and knowledgeable about the cabins and amenities. 11 cabins were built during the Great Depression back in the 1930's by the Civilian Conservation Corp ( CCC) stone and hand hewn wooden beams. Modern updated since I had been there back in... Cabins are great . Book your reservation thru the MSSP . They have a store in the office . Plenty of campsites too across from the office.
