I think you have two types of people in this world: vacationers and travelers. If you're a traveler type, this place is a gem! We spent 11 days in Alaska traveling by camper van, and this was probably our favorite campsite of the trip. The spaces are close together, but we didn't find this too bothersome with our set-up on the beachfront row. Bathrooms were kept pleasantly clean. The showers weren't scalding, but they were plenty warm for us. Having laundry facilities on site was also extremely handy, as this was about halfway through our trip. The campground was super convenient to multiple restaurants and shops (including delicious coffee at Mug Up w/ Salmon Sisters). But the biggest pro, in our opinion, was the WILDLIFE! From the seat of our van we were able to observe sea otters, harbor seals, harbor porpoises, and HUMPBACK WHALES! So, make sure to keep your eyes peeled and your binoculars handy the whole time! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

It was so fun to stay here! It was crowded, but the amazing location and view totally made up for it. It was a good location and close to everything on Homer Spit. Over crowded, our neighbors had their tent in our section, left trash on our side. Toilets were clean, but if you wanted to shower you had to pay more. We got a water front spot which was beautiful
