Too quick to kick people out, not the campgrounds fault more the cities rules, but this is not a hotel, most of the spots were empty and we were asked to get out before 12 or we would get a ticket. I think if the campgrounds is full this makes sense but if it’s empty and we’re 1 of 3 people camping some time should be allowed to leave, especially cause we were heading out anyway. We were misled that we had a FHU campsite. In Seward, that means something different-only water and electricity. That is very disappointing but worse the dump station is GROSS. Also they only have 2 sides for dumping. If all you want is a view of the water, you do get that here. Otherwise, I’d look around while being aware that FHU in the lower 48 is NOT FHU in Seward, AK. Loudest campsite in the world. Extremely noisy. Left and lost our reservation for the second night. We were #321 site. Someone drove in about 12:15 am and were pounding their six tent spikes ( huge tent)with mallets about 10 feet away. People drinking til 2am , Laughing, yelling cars coming in, hitting the car locks with the honk noise. Tons of dogs barking at each other. Ridiculous. When I had called earlier to request being away from the playground, the lady was nice but acted like this place had a quiet hour. Don't come here if you want a peaceful campfire and tent experience.

We are tent campers and stayed on the south end in the tent area next to the ocean. I think site 220 is the best tent site. Our first couple nights here were okay. There is zero privacy. The sites are on top of each other. If you have decent neighbors it’s ok. However as we approached a holiday weekend the campground completely filled. It appeared as many were not actually here to camp. Locals set... We are tent campers and stayed on the south end in the tent area next to the ocean. I think site 220 is the best tent site. Locals set up pop up tents are came to party blaring music and running generators until 1am. Also had homeless people on the other side of us. Bathrooms were ok. Had to drive to public showers downtown that were decent. Coin operated.

Huge campground with great views and easy access to town. However the roads in the campground is nothing but potholes and for an R.V. that’s not good. For as much money as they are making they could at least fix the roads.
