4.5 miles one way if you start at the parking lot by the boat launch /sheriff station. Narrow trails with many ascents and descents. You need good soles on your footwear. Gorgeous views all along the trail. A dip in Bartlett lake is wonderfully refreshing. Bring plenty of water

Beautiful over grown trail that offers incredible views of the lake on the Palo Verde Trail. Well worth the hike. Go early in the AM for cooler temps. Bring extra water. Start at Rattlesnake Cove picnic area. Beautiful drive out to the lake and in May saguaros in bloom!
