This was such a fantastic place to find. It was free when I visited, which is becoming less common, even in the west. Thank you Navajo Nation! Absolutely awe-inspiring and breathtaking! Absolutely awe-inspiring and breathtaking! I was the only camper there part of the time and I got a awesome spot that overlooked the canyon. The vault toilet was behind me, which was handy! Free camping. A little past the Sunset view campground and this one doesn't have a water station but there was only one other person when I was here in late May.
