What a peaceful place that is super close to show low to grab food/forgotten items/gas. In the summer there is an unlimited amount of places to go and things to see. This is my new favorite “escape the valley heat” location for the summer!

This is one of the most beautiful parks in Az. The park only has 30 amp service but that’s ok cause you only need one a/c if that. The lake is nice the water is great, the park is near town and shopping. There are hiking trails. Biking trails. The spots are big and provide plenty of privacy.

The ranger that checked us in was so sweet and helpful. I felt so bad that my dogs were barking at her so much, but she was able to give us directions regardless. She also gave us an Easter egg! 🐣 Our campsite was nice, but there was trash in the grill and chicken bones around the area. Our neighbors were also too close and were noisy/played music until 11pm. I wish the host here gave them a war... The ranger that checked us in was so sweet and helpful. I wish the host here gave them a warning to shut the music down at quiet hours. The views and bathroom made up for the cons! The bathroom here is the cleanest I've ever seen at a campsite, and the water was hot. I also liked the cute hiking trail that is accessible from the campsites. We camped at Osprey 12. I think the campsites left of it is a double, so maybe choose a different site if you want some peace and quiet.

Road is clean, you r near to city, this is not wilderness camping. Saw lots bugs, tarantula. Squirrels play all morning. Bathroom clean and hotel fancy. One campsite has bathroom that include shower, they have hot water switch to use too. Not lots activity for kids unless u have kayak or paddleboard. Rental are available but $40 over is cost. They have small store for fish boat, food drink n best... Road is clean, you r near to city, this is not wilderness camping. Saw lots bugs, tarantula. Squirrels play all morning. I was in Osprey loop. I think this whole camp area is great. The campsites are well maintained, and I noticed that someone comes by and rakes them after previous campers have left.
