Good rest stop nearby. On-site host / seems like someone is living here full time. No running water in the sinks/bathrooms, but a decent rest stop anyway. Worth a stop if you’re passing through. If you’re headed up through Young during winter season, beware: you will need snow chains and/or a 4x4 vehicle and yet that may still not be enough. The road beyond here (North) is not suited for snowbirds... Good rest stop nearby. On-site host / seems like someone is living here full time. Let’s keep it that way.

Ample parking area with a couple spaces available for those pulling campers, trailering, etc., shaded picnic tables, large trash receptacles, roofed lookout area with seating, & clean restrooms! Overnight parking available, nice wading/swimming area on one side of the dam, large mouth bass & channel cat fishing area on the other side. Nice scenic drive with well maintained blacktop in and out.

Walked through the flowing water water with my man and my dog. It was a cool little adventure.. mostly because my pup isn't usually in to water and he suddenly transformed into a water dog! 🤭💦🐕👬💦 The catfish were HUGE 🐟
