Even without showers, one of the nicest, quietest and cleanest campgrounds I’ve ever been to. Very little lighting to mess up star viewing, very clean bathrooms and the fellow campers were all very considerate and respectful of others. Hard to come by in the US of A anymore speaking as a young boomer

Cool place. Didn’t get enough time to fully explore. Was a ways out from anything so bring snacks and beverages for the evening. Bisbee coffee co great spot to eat breakfast and good coffee/chai

Beautiful campground, very silty dirt, clean restrooms, bear and coti aware, with steel food storage and trash/aluminum recycling. Very spotty reception. Fires allowed in portable pit. Check website for size limitations in camp spot. Visitor CENTER closed due to government shutdown.

Enjoyed our stay here. Beautifully shaded campground at base of canyon. Gorgeous rock formations and nice scenic drive for vehicles

We had a great campsite, & mostly nice visit. They warm you about bears and explain the bear box use, etc. They said nothing of skunks! Fought off 3 for a few hours one night and we were SO lucky to not get sprayed. Be aware of the skunks and maybe bring a deterrent spray so they might stay away from your campsite? Great place and good luck!

It had been years since I've been to this place. So many great change. I was honored to officiate a wedding at the fire ring. So many great upgrades. I look forward to visiting again.

We attended a wedding here this past weekend. The hosts, Shane and Vicki, were very accommodating and friendly. The bathrooms were well maintained. They were selling ice at the little store by the lake, which was a relief. With fire restrictions in place, make sure you bring propane grills (and possibly fire rings). Also bring shade tents, as some sites don’t have a lot. This was a lovely campgrou... We attended a wedding here this past weekend. The hosts, Shane and Vicki, were very accommodating and friendly. We camped at site 24. It was perfect. The weather was amazing. The lake was great, even though we didn’t catch anything. My only negative was that there were a ton of yellow jackets.

Gorgeous spot, the drive up from Tucson is magical! You round a bend with rocks and desert all around, then suddenly … boom Pine Forest. Bullfrog tadpoles were all over in Rose Canyon Lake. Found a patch of snow at the top of the mountain in early May. Never thought that would happen in Arizona.
