Four or so non-level parking spots on either side of the road make for a decent if minimalist spot to camp. Super clean vault toilet and critter proof trash receptacles close the deal. If any downsides it would be the lack of level ground, and the comparatively rough road access from the north Big Wash turnoff. If you need larger, more level spots, roll on to Windy Point (fee area).

Not easy to get to and rough camping, but a quiet picturesque beautiful place. Went in March and the nights got very cold, but daytime was nice. Had the place to ourselves during the week.

Explored up Big Wash Road to arrive here. Excellent and well maintained campsite with picnic area and grill/fire pits. Good restrooms and bear-proof garbage disposal if u don't pack out. Nice view and plenty to explore.

Packsaddle is maybe 4 or more sites, split on either side of the road, and not far off the 9 or so miles of gravel road leading to it. There were many undesignated sites before getting to there. If you really want a pit toilet, this is it. If you can live without, you can save some miles.
