Highly recommend for a day off from hot Arizona areas. I went from phoenix for a day retreat. Lovely place. I was not prepared for camping and kayaking. But definitely place for such activities.

Stunningly beautiful! Took the family on a 3ish mile hike around the lake and it was picture perfect. The weather was nice, cool breeze, not too hot. The trail around the lake is clearly marked and easy to follow. Eager to come back and spend some time on the lake.

Beautiful atmosphere, easygoing campgrounds. Easy to see if there is availability and open camp grounds. The restrooms where maintained and clean (as they could be). We had the best camp hosts everytime we have gone (3 years) throughout the seasons. We love the leisure of being able to fish, boat, walk or bike. The wildlife is amazing to see! I wish people would clean up after themselves better... Beautiful atmosphere, easygoing campgrounds. Easy to see if there is availability and open camp grounds.
