I will never forget seeing those figures though. At night I could see most of the cabins from my bunk, some with people playing Hot Lava and laughing and these figures appeared when I looked over again. They looked like old miners, with overalls and leather protective hats. I remember it like it was yesterday. One looked straight into me, it's eyes voids of black in a white face. I felt cold and suffocated and anger pierced me. I froze, tears falling from my face, struggling to breath and terrified. Then the one I made eye contact with took a step toward my cabin. I tucked myself under my covers, terrified and tried to keep quiet. The next day we went for a hike and I asked one of the counselors if there happened to be an old mine nearby. The counselor gave me a funny look and said there were quite a few old mines in/near the county. I asked if there had been any accidents in one close, and she looked even more startled and unsure and said yes, one had collapsed and some miners had died. Now this was decades ago. If not longer. The camp was fun, but it has become one of my most shared ghost stories. Just thinking of it today, I still get goosebumps and feel it like I am there. Just wanted to share my experience, so if anyone else saw what I did, they would know they're not alone. I would go back if I could.

Very disappointing experience! I don't like leaving bad reviews but this was a doozy! Went to Sky Y Camp as a chaperone for my child's 6th grade end-of-year field trip. Went to Sky Y Camp as a chaperone for my child's 6th grade end-of-year field trip. Every corner of the floor had rodent feces as well as on top of the shelving units attached to the bunk-beds. Asked three camp members to attend to it before someone attempted to clean it up. Discovered our group was in the only non-renovated cabin. Unlike the other cabins, the one we were in had peeling wood paneling and floor,  As well as holes in the ceiling. During an activity, a pair of panties was spotted, while the children were climbing boulders. The girl running the activiy stated: "those have been there awhile". Overall it was just dirtier and dingier than what you would expect even for camping!
