The family and I stayed for two nights in Jan. The low was around 39 degrees. We had a great time. During the day the weather was perfect. It was fun being next to the water. Staff was friendly and the campground was clean. Will go back!

Nice campground, right on the water (Salt River) in a canyon below the Roosevelt Dam. Dry camping, with pit toilet available. Plenty of trees & vegetation. Mostly flat. Safe clean & quiet. The road in and out was too scary for me, though, so I probably won’t be back. DO NOT attempt this road with a trailer or big rig. Or if you are afraid of heights.

We found our new favorite camping spot in Arizona. Being only 2 hours away from Gilbert, this place is 100% a hidden gem. The view from our campsite is just absolutely stunning! The host is super friendly and gave me some tips to reserve sites when it gets super busy. Bathroom is clean, dumpster and water spout was nearby. We can’t wait to be back for summer to swim in the lake.

Loved it here, they keep it clean and most campers were respectful of other campers. The spot we had was right by the one way road to get to the exit/boat ramp. Bathroom facilities were clean and minimal, but at least you could go in privately.

Beautiful location, not many others around, I think because of the cold nights and windy days. Did not see the camp host except at their campsite. My site and firepit had a 13 gallon bag of trash left behind by previous campers.
