I recently got back from a 4 day Grand Canyon rafting trip and couldn't have been more pleased. The views were phenomenal, and there were options to alternate between floating and actively paddling depending on your comfort level. Also, I was very impressed with the food. This is not a hot dogs and baked beans kind of camping. We ate incredibly well and it was obvious that a lot of planning went into making the meals a comforting respite in a place when we're otherwise out of our element. I don't think there's any chance you could get a better experience through private companies. If you're thinking about doing this, don't hesitate. It was truly a bucket list experience!

Stayed for a night after the grand canyon and the cabin was really nice. Plenty of space and dog friendly cabins are marked. The hotel gift shop coffee spot was disappointing because no one showed up to order any drinks and the lady at the desk did call for some one to come

Not what it used to be. Stayed in one of the A-Frames. The A-Frames are in need of repair. I used to go many times over the last 34 years but haven't been for at least 5 years. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans are piecemealed and insufficient for cooking. Microwave needed to be replaced. Our refrigerator didn't keep our food cold. Reported to staff and they stored it until the next day when... Not what it used to be. Stayed in one of the A-Frames. The A-Frames are in need of repair. As usual you have to empty your own trash and wash anything used in kitchen. This is not a problem but the folks who cleaned the cabin after the last folks left an envelope for a tip. I didn't understand that as we never saw any cleaning staff our entire 4 day stay.

Awesome RV park with a hotel and cabins. Quiet and relaxing, clean and spacious. RV spots are different sizes, no sewer connection. Good Verizon and T mobile services. Big playground and a lot of walking trails.
