Clean, generous size, serviceable room with unappealing decor. Floor is thin, commercial-grade carpet glued to concrete slab, (similar to what one finds in the snack bar of a skating rink). Two nice queen-size beds feature good mattresses, so-so pillows and linens. Bath towels skimpy, but hey, it's Arizona-- stand still for a few minutes and you'll dry off. Small closet with nary a hanger. No sham... No shampoo, no hair dryer. Watered-down (really watered-down) pump hand soap at the sink. A small kitchenette with larger-than-usual fridge, a nice three-burner stovetop and AN OVEN! Hence, one could roast a small turkey, but not hang up a jacket. Strangest and most annoying thing about this room is that guests have no access to heat or AC control. Room temperature is controlled from the motel office, some distance away. There is no phone connection to office which is closed overnight. We arrived to a cold room, walked to the office to request some heat, then were uncomfortably hot overnight. Open a window? Not possible. On the positive side are friendly management staff, clean surroundings, a nice patio area with picnic tables, fireplace and grill, and a pleasant clubhouse with wifi and pool table. The motel is only a small part of this facility. Its larger business is its RV park-- which at this time of year is filled to capacity with retired happy campers enjoying the warmth of Arizona winter.

Rose and Cindy were gracious hosts. Rooms were very clean, the grounds felt safe and comfortable. We stayed as a hub for fishing Roosevelt Lake. Will do again.

The ladies here are amazing. They helped me find everything I needed for my trip. And did I mention they have a HUGE selection of products. You can find everything you forgot for your camping trip here, including a table lol. DON'T waste your time at the Roosevelt Marina (Ffinch's waterfront kitchen and bar) no selection i'm not kidding and store clerks are down right rude and unfriendly.
