About Tombstone RV Park and Campground

Campground in Arizona.

Tombstone RV Park and Campground offers the perfect home base for exploring one of Arizona's most captivating historic destinations. Located at 1475 State Route 80 in Tombstone, this RV park puts you right in the heart of the Old West, where legendary gunfights and colorful characters shaped American history.

Tombstone itself is a living museum, a town frozen in time that transports visitors back to the 1880s silver mining boom. The famous OK Corral gunfight between Wyatt Earp and the Clanton gang remains the town's most iconic moment, and you can walk the very streets where it all happened. Beyond the Wild West drama, Tombstone offers genuine charm with its authentic architecture, wooden storefronts, and dirt streets that evoke the genuine frontier era.

From your RV, you'll have easy access to the town's numerous attractions. The Bird Cage Theatre, once a notorious saloon and gambling hall, preserves artifacts and stories from the town's rough-and-tumble past. History enthusiasts will appreciate the Boot Hill Graveyard, where many of Tombstone's notable gunfighters were laid to rest. The town's museums and historic buildings provide hours of exploration, whether you're interested in mining history, frontier life, or the dramatic tales of the Old West.

The surrounding area offers beautiful Arizona desert landscape, with opportunities for scenic drives and outdoor recreation. The nearby Dragoon Mountains provide stunning vistas and hiking possibilities for those seeking to stretch their legs beyond town exploration. Spring and fall bring particularly pleasant weather to the region, making these seasons ideal for visiting.

Tombstone RV Park and Campground welcomes travelers seeking authentic Western heritage, history buffs, families wanting to introduce children to American frontier culture, and anyone curious about this legendary chapter of the American story. Whether you're planning a weekend getaway or a longer stay, this location provides convenient access to one of Arizona's most visited and beloved historic towns.

Great RV park especially if you are in the SE boon docking and need a recharge every few days. Last minute change of plans and was able to see the city but was late finding a spot. They were able to fit me in last minute but I was really lucky on that. Call ahead before closing. Really nice people and provided great info on some spots to go trek off to for a few more days. If you have a bigger rig the spots are spacious and if you have a smaller rig you will have no worries.

Nice Park. Not much there, but location is excellent. Right on Allen Street where it is all happening. The spots can be narrow, but plenty of room lengthwise. The staff are very accommodating. Very laid back atmosphere. Great rates! We were very happy with our choice, Highly recommend!

We’ve stayed at a multitude of RV parks all over the states. We prefer boondocking as we have a fully self sufficient setup, but after staying for a night to take care of our weekly laundry duties, we extended a stay a few more nights. We enjoyed that so much that we decided to make it a whole month. Reasonably priced, especially with the good Sam discount. The staff and owners are all very friend... Wow! What a great rv park! The office staff was friendly and helpful and organized. We stayed in site 3 (gravel) and our starlink had a great signal there. There was a picnic table at our site. The bath house had codes for the bathrooms and the showers worked great. The bath house looked a little dated inside; however, everything was extremely clean and everything worked. The bath house looked a little dated inside; however, everything was extremely clean and everything worked. We did not use the laundry rom or the pool, yet both looked very nice. The club house had a lot to offer, great if staying long term. The park is a short drive to the attractions in Tombstone. If we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay while visiting Tombstone. They have spacious enough sites with full hook ups. We really enjoyed the heated pool and friendly people. It is located just a couple minutes from town and was nice and quiet at night. We would definitely stay here again.
