About Wells Fargo RV Park

Campground in Arizona.

Wells Fargo RV Park sits in the heart of Tombstone, Arizona, one of the Old West's most iconic destinations. Located at 215 East Fremont Street, this RV park puts you directly in the middle of the action, where history comes alive around every corner. Tombstone is famous for its preserved mining town character and legendary Wild West heritage, making it a destination that appeals to history enthusiasts, families seeking educational adventures, and anyone captivated by American frontier culture.

The town itself is remarkably walkable from the park's central location. You can step out and find yourself on the very streets where famous gunfights took place and where miners struck silver during the 1880s boom. The historic district is packed with authentic saloons, museums, and attractions that transport visitors back in time. The OK Corral, perhaps the most famous gunfight location in American history, is nearby and offers visitors a chance to learn about this legendary event and the personalities involved. Multiple museums throughout town tell the stories of Apache warriors, miners, outlaws, and lawmen who shaped this region's dramatic past.

Beyond history, the Tombstone area offers access to beautiful Arizona desert landscapes and outdoor recreation opportunities. The surrounding desert scenery is stunning, with rugged mountains and wide-open vistas typical of southeastern Arizona. Visitors often explore nearby mining sites, take scenic drives through the high desert, and enjoy the unique flora and fauna of the Sonoran Desert region. Bird watching is excellent in the area, and numerous hiking trails are within driving distance for those seeking outdoor adventure.

The park's location makes it ideal for visitors who want to experience authentic Old West culture without sacrificing modern RV comforts. Whether you're a history buff eager to walk in the footsteps of legendary figures, a family looking for educational and entertaining activities, or someone simply drawn to the romance and mystique of the Old West, Wells Fargo RV Park offers a convenient home base for your Tombstone adventure. The combination of genuine frontier history, charming downtown atmosphere, and desert beauty makes this a memorable destination for RV travelers.

We would like to thank Shelley and the "Hulk" for our 3 day Rv stay this month. Never had to use the Rv to see the town, everything is an easy walk from this location. Some sites are a little tight, but this park is very popular and in the middle of everything in Tombstone. Shelley even helped with our Canopy relocation! Sam and Mary Phillips.

We stayed in the new covered wagons that they offered. We were very pleased! Walk out the front door right onto main street! So the location was perfect for us. As far as the covered wagons, they are beautiful inside. Bathroom is very roomy with a 4 ft full size shower. We stayed in the one with the queen bed and twin sized bunk beds. My 15 year old daughter had plenty of room. We will stay again.... We stayed in the new covered wagons that they offered. We were very pleased! Walk out the front door right onto main street! We stayed in the one with the queen bed and twin sized bunk beds. My 15 year old daughter had plenty of room. We will stay again. If you're thinking of staying and trying it out, keep this in mind. It IS a covered wagon, it does move when you walk, you can hear outside. It's all part of the great experience. It also had the top of the line Mitsubishi ductless heat pump in it ( sorry i'm a heating guy). It was 98 degrees Saturday, and stay 70 inside. I've stayed at this park 3 times in my own camper. When I heard the new owners and management were bringing in these wagons, I had to give it a try. This trip was a spur of the moment trip so it was perfect. The park has really started looking nice, alot of updated and cleaning up have taken place. I highly recommend this place. Fun to see the kids I. The park staring at the wagons! We will be back in march!

We stayed in the brand new covered wagon they have there and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The park is very clean and the people that run it are truly amazing and accommodating. 5 stars and then some! Can't wait to come back in March 2026

Good bye Tombstone The park was ok and clean. Being that you were feet from Freemount st it was pretty quite. The spaces are super tight, this is true. You can sit in a chair outside your rig but you have to deal with someone else's slide or door. We were parked right off the street. You can sit in a chair outside your rig but you have to deal with someone else's slide or door. We were parked right off the street. There is not really a fence around the park, unless you are a resident camper. They are pet friendly, but there is no place to walk your dogs or service dogs, except on the streets. The streets are very busy. No dogs allowed at the city park or on the church grounds. We found a giant dog park a few block away, left on 7th street to the end. It is a baseball park converted to a dog park, complete with divided areas, bags, toys and water. A big thank you to the Tombstone Lions for the awesome dog park. Also is a playground next to the dog park for your kids. The best thing about this park is this that you can basically walk out of the rv park and you are on the main st of Tombstone. The OK corral is 2 small blocks away. Be aware that most of the shops and attractions close by 5pm. Be sure to check out the gunslinger dressed in black and his beautiful dogs, on the corner of 3rd. He creates a customized piece of art neckless for you, right front of his curiosity shop.
