Bathrooms and clean and well maintained. It would be nice if they had laundry service for guess. We hiked the Flatiron trail, if you are up for it, highly recommend, but it's not for everyone. We also hiked.to praying hands, which is easier. It's also worth mentioning, a drive along Apache Trail scenic Drive is very impressive. Septacular views, note the roads turns into gravel. Tortilla Flat is a great place for lunch.

The pads are pretty excellent. Many have tall overhead awnings to fit big.RVs underneath. There are small cabins for you who don't drag a house behind the car... We didn't see a single tent. Very little natural shade. Stupendously lovely views. Good showers and toilets.

we loved Lost Dutchman State Park! I wish we would have had more time there. We just landed at Mesa and this was our first stop after grabbing some food so we could watch the sunset there. Staff was friendly and helpful, we stuck to the easy flat trails and explored. Loved getting to see so many different birds there and snapping pictures with my camera. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back... we loved Lost Dutchman State Park! I wish we would have had more time there. Ten bucks to park and worth every penny. You get clean trails, friendly staff, and some of the best hiking views in Arizona. I hit Flatiron while I was there, and it was absolutely phenomenal. The climb hits hard but rewards you with views that make you forget how much your legs are complaining. The park is spotless, the trails are clearly marked, and even the bathrooms were clean which is rare enough to deserve a shout-out. Bring water, snacks, and a camera because every turn looks like it should be a postcard. If you live in Arizona or you’re just passing through, go here. Hike, explore, get dusty, and enjoy one of the best slices of the desert you’ll ever see.
