Great campground, only nine spots, which is awesome in my opinion. Alll sites are also full hook up with water, electric and sewer. There are nearby walking trails and although I've yet to catch a fish in the lake just below the dam, I know of several people who have caught a decent size catch. They have a pavilion you can rent and it also has a small playground area for the kiddos.

Beautiful campground with great amenities and hot showers. Staff are around cleaning and watching over the area daily. Only a handful of campsites are available, but it's quiet, spacious and the lake is wonderful. Electric hook up includes various types of plugs. See pictures for more details.

Stayed one night in our camper van. Would have loved to stay longer. The area was pretty. Hookups worked. Showers worked. Four showers to choose from. Quiet.

Being February the water is way down. Still my favorite spot to camp. My second time here. We will be back.

Very nice/small, calm. Only 9 sites all with sewer. #6 is a good pull thru site right alongside gentle stream. Sounds great. No park host but didn't need one. Easy access to Ouchita River for swimming or kayak. Go around corner to Avey rec area for boat dock to river and beginning of a really nice, long hiking trail. Water very cold. Easy to get to Hot Springs for a day trip. I would come... Very nice/small, calm. Only 9 sites all with sewer. #6 is a good pull thru site right alongside gentle stream. Sounds great.
