We stayed in camping spot A2 for 3 days. The water hook ups and electric post were easy to use and weren't super far away from the RV pad. I only give 4 stars for the reason of there was a lot of vehicle traffic near our camp site and I kept having to move my kids that were riding their bicycles to avoid the cars. Also, watch out for snakes. We saw a few not far from our camp.

A little older of an area. Stayed in site B10. Close to level. We have a 36' 5th wheel, tow vehicle, plus another vehicle. Easy entry into site and large enough for all vehicles. Asphalt with concrete patio. There is a picnic table and fire ring. 50/30/20A We can kind of see the river from this site. Very roomy sites in the woods with plenty of shade. Mostly dirt ground. There are mountain bike/hiking trails all over, even a little bike park with ramps and jumps. Playground and boat ramp. No sewer hookups, but there is a dump station. Lots of mosquitoes in the evening. Although some sites need maintenance and the restrooms are old, this is a nice park. We stayed 2 days and would definitely stay again.

Springhill Park Campground, Barling Arkansas: A Corp of Engineers Park. When we arrived a little after 2:00 pm there was no one at the gate house, just a note that said for campers to go to your site. On our way we happened to run into the camp host and when we asked when he would be at the gate so we could register he said... "You just did!". It doesn't get any easier then that. Driving throug... On our way we happened to run into the camp host and when we asked when he would be at the gate so we could register he said... "You just did!". It doesn't get any easier then that. Driving through the campground to our site I was getting worried as I glanced around and noticed so many short sites with large odd inclines. A large rig like ours would certainly hit the landing gear backing into one. Happily, our site was a little longer and way more level. We are almost 70' long but were able to get to our site in "B" section fine. The site is not deep enough for us to park directly in front of our camper but there was plenty of room to park to the side or on an angle. This is an older park and it shows in various ways (insides of the bathhouse being one of them). Having said that, the sites are well shaded and spaced far apart. We had 50 amp service and water hook ups. Both remained constant for our time there. We also had a concrete pad to set our chairs out on and a picnic table to eat at. Along with that there was a fire ring with an attached grill for cooking. There is also a boat ramp, beautiful river views, playground and a dump station. This is not a resort, but it is clean, inexpensive and seems safe.

Excellent spot for camping! You're right on the river, so fishing is perfect. There's so many parks for the kids to play, bathroom facilities are nice, and you can't beat the beauty. We had the only spot, A6, that did not have any shade, but we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely would recommend it.

Brand new bath house (which we used for morning showers), quiet and a beautiful property. A very nice gentleman came out to greet us even tho it was after hours. He was very kind and helped is get our bearings quickly! Note, they have water and electric but no sewer hookups.
