It's a beautiful place to have fun and relax. Swimming, fishing and hiking. The hike to the falls is enjoyable and the falls are beautiful.

The unmarked upper falls trail was definitely a great hike. Pretty challenging on some parts especially climbing to the top of the big falls but it was so worth it. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CHILDREN OR THOSE WITH UNSTABLE FOOTING!

One of my favorite usfs rec areas! Gets busy in the summertime with locals, but it's mostly just day use. In the fall and winter, we have camped here and had the whole place to ourselves quite a few times. Cops seem to harass people in the busy season, saw & heard of a lot of unnecessary "abuse of power" going on. Day use area is nice, especially when it's not crowded. All camping loops are great... All camping loops are great, most with water views and access. Showers/bathrooms are okay. Pit toilets in primitive area but not too far of a walk or drive to the day use showers.

Big Piney Creek was nice, fairly clear but not like buffalo or white river. But was nice, few small rapids areas but nothing to be con with. Not trash in creek which was nice. Kayak down to two Bridges, where we got out at Moore farm. Beautiful day

In the heart of Summer, Long Pool recreational area provided some much needed relief from the heat of the day. While many of the surrounding watering holes were dried up, water levels were high enough to jump off the rocks while wading knee high along the shore area. Very cool area. Note, since it is open to the public and near a camping area, there is a small parking fee you can pay upon entering...
