My wife and I live only one hour away from this very peaceful and elegant operation of eleven cabins and a five star restaurant named the Grill. We spent two nights in the “Couples Cove” cabin and enjoyed the view of lake Norfork from the perfectly positioned deck. This relaxing environment was further enhanced by the excellent meals that are served at the Grill. We enjoyed ourselves so much that... We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are planning a trip with close friends and future stays with us alone. I highly recommend Whispering Woods cabins and Grill and will be returning soon!

Lovely small cabins overlooking beautiful dam and Lake area. Restaurant onsite is Whispering Woods which is almost like a well kept secret. The food is sublime. Outdoor patio allowed us to bring our dog and listen to music while we dined overlooking the lake and entire valley. Prime Rib and Lobster were delicious. When I arrived at Whispering Woods Cabins for my much-anticipated getaway, I discovered that my cabin had been accidentally double-booked and was already occupied by another guest. As someone who had been looking forward to this last minute trip, I'll admit my heart sank. However, what could have been a vacation-ruining disaster transformed into a testament to exceptional business ethics and genuine hospitality. The owner immediately took full responsibility for the booking error. There were no excuses, no attempting to shift blame, and no hesitation about making things right. Within moments, they had arranged for me to stay at another quality accommodation in the area and insisted on covering all the costs personally. The professionalism, swift action, and sincere apology demonstrated a level of customer care that's increasingly rare in today's world. I wholeheartedly recommend Whispering Woods Cabins based on this experience alone. When I return to the area, they will absolutely be my first choice for lodging. Any establishment that demonstrates this level of care when things go wrong must be truly exceptional when everything goes right.
