I would rate it 4 stars overall. This was my first time camping in many years and I did it by myself. The campsites were nice and spacious, maybe a little close together but not a deal breaker. The campsites were nice and spacious, maybe a little close together but not a deal breaker. The communal bathroom and showers were also surprisingly nice and clean as well. There is no cell service but there is Wifi you can connect to at the campsite. I chose devil's den to camp at because of its mountain biking. Being called "The birthplace of Arkansas mountain biking" I had high expectations. But in reality, the trails were a bit boring as far as mountain biking goes. I think they would be fine to hike but they just weren't very exciting biking on. On some of the deeper trails there were a few trees fallen on the trails which made it difficult to get around with a bike. Overall it was a good experience, but if you are looking for a place to specifically mountain bike, I wouldn't recommend Devil's Den.

We drove to Devils Den to ride bikes and see the fall leaves. It was a beautiful day. The Devils Racetrack is an awesome MTB trail, but it was a bit much for this old lady. I wrecked and broke my coccyx. I also bruised my pride. 😂 All in all, a great day!

First, RV campers, if you are coming on I49 and your GPS says to exit at Winslow, don't do it. Go to West Fork exit 53. You do not want to drive your rig from Winslow. This is a very nice campground with spacious sites. Each site has a picnic table, grill and fire ring. The bath houses are nice and clean. We had no cell service but the wifi was decent enough we could use messenger. We even picked up local channels on our antenna to keep up with weather. There are miles of trails with different levels of difficulty. It's amazing a peaceful. Be advised that any shopping is about 30 minutes away so pack accordingly.
