Stayed at site 28. We loved it. Easy to find campsites. Spacious but you definitely do have neighbors. The visitor center employees are very nice and the gift shop was reasonably priced. The bathrooms were VERY clean and there’s 4 stalls available. The water was easily accessible. Yes you can see the town lights but it didn’t bother us and it was still pitch black. Beautiful campground nestled in the desert hills with lots of Joshua Trees all around. There are water spigots and the bathrooms are very nice! Ok campsite. Usually yu can get more for the same price if you go to a NP campground but those get busy and booked at peak season. Close to the park. Ok restrooms, mostly clean. No showers. Experience may vary with the particular lot you get as some are pretty private and others are open bare on all sides. Fire pits available.

I’ve been to this campground three times so far, and I’ve had a good experience each time. Plenty of space at the camp site, clean bathrooms stocked with toilet paper and soap, and some nice trails nearby!
