The campsite experience was overall pleasant. It was a nice area with plenty of pines and little critters. The only things I wish were better was trash storage and restrooms. Since it's a group campsite I wish they had more space to lock away trash at night. We ran out of room for all of our bags. The campsites down the road had toilets with plumbing but ours did not. Not a big deal, but it would... The campsite experience was overall pleasant. It was a nice area with plenty of pines and little critters. Large open campground, several tent sites in shaded area all day long. Great camp hosts, very helpful and friendly. Very cool to watch the Marines training night and day in the surrounding area (edge of campground). Many kid activities at ski resort next to campground. Finding Buttercup for the first time was a challenge, study maps beforehand, Google only gets you close. Great cell coverage.

Nice and quiet, restrooms kept clean. 4 stars because there's no showers in the campground.
