Everyone seemed to mind their own business and we weren't bothered at all. Even the road nearby didn't get too loud. Plenty of wood all around, although I'm not sure if that is always the case. If you're looking for a place to getaway into nature and do a little basic camping I highly recommend this spot. Even with several other campgrounds around and the marina areas down the road it still felt like we were away from it all. I would definitely look here first for my next camping excursion!

Visited campground on Jun.14-16. Very nice place: fireplace, bear-proof containers, toilets, hosts - everything was fine! There's a very beautiful lake near the campground and we rented a boat - $35 for an hour! Reasonable price. Overall we liked it very much! 5 star camping!

We did Yosemite last year and granted this isn't that place. It was actually a lot better. First, you didn't have all the damn tourists. Second, there wasn't a lame campfire extinguish time. Third, there was a lake within walking distance where you could either swim or fish. The camp host didn't bother us once, probably because we follow rules like normal people. The camp host didn't bother us once, probably because we follow rules like normal people. There were some idiot rednecks that were talked to due to their Garth Brooks fan club reunion was too loud. Oh and one more bonus. The bathrooms were spotless! All in all this place kicks ass! It really has a good vibe to it.

Only one restroom but extremely clean. Camp sites are decent with many having two bear boxes. Quick walk to the lake. Good campground.
