This was a great OHV stop, the campground has 4 spots, fire pit with grate, large picnic table with shade structure, clean pit toilets, quiet, amazing sunsets, birds singing, cool weather. Maintained dirt road. The riding is great also!

Excellent and peacful campsite. Only 3 places with table and fire pit, but there was more room in the parking. Clean pit toilet, no other amenities, no water. No noise from highway, feels perfectly detached from the rest of the world. Access road is unpaved and excellent, wide, perfectly flat and in better condition than many paved roads. Area is surrounded by Joshua trees and in nearby hills there are plenty of hiking and OHV trails. It can get windy, as the campground and trailhead are located in large, wide valley.

Stayed here late September. The entire campground was overrun with tumbleweeds. I spent two hours with a hatchet and shovel cleaning them out of one of the table/shade structure areas. As an added bonus, I found out that I'm allergic to tumbleweed since my arms and legs were covered with itchy welts for days.
