This area is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

Nice place, 3 open large pull throughs on top, smaller limited below the plateau, group site. Nice views, can get a little breezy. Dirt road is fine, no problem-o.. If a big boy rig, I'd walk the lower/North sites just to make sure you'll fit. I'm in a Truck Camper, smaller so not a problem. No internet, Verizon. Not sure the road goes into the valley/mountain.

I would have stayed here a month if I could have. The sound of the creek (which is audible from the tent sites) is wonderful. There are trash cans (unusual for free campgrounds) and acceptably clean vault toilets. There is some shade available but most of the sites are sunny, except for the two group sites, which are heavily shaded. The RV sites have roofs over the picnic tables. There are severa... There is some shade available but most of the sites are sunny, except for the two group sites, which are heavily shaded. The RV sites have roofs over the picnic tables. There are several good walks in the area, or driving opportunities if you're into that. The RV sites (primitive) can accomodate any size rig. It's fairly busy with day use, not a huge number of campers but a regular rotation of people in and out. I expect it is very busy during hunting season. If you don't like cozying up with others, the FS roads in the area offer dispersed options within 1.5 or 2 miles of the campground.

Great place to chill. Full flowing creek. No fish. Great view. Hass charcoal bbq stand. Fire pits with a grill top. Pretty clean. People need to remember to take their trash with them. Overall, super happy I found on a whim. Kids had fun.

A nice place to visit. Lots of little trails by the creek and decent places to camp with good space between them. Please don't litter like others!
