Good campsite. The sites were a good size with a nice view of the lake. If you are booking a site double check because ours was not flat so there was limited space to set up tents if you have multiple. Bathrooms were clean and there were many available around the sites as well as showers. We were there Fourth of July weekend and didn’t have any issues with lines. If you want to swim in the lake... Bathrooms were clean and there were many available around the sites as well as showers. We were there Fourth of July weekend and didn’t have any issues with lines. If you want to swim in the lake you have to drive to the day use area. The designated swim beach was closed but there was no signage or information online about swim areas. However the day use had access to the lake and it was fun to swim. There were picnic benches available as well.

Nice place to camp , hot showers included. No hookups as far as I can tell but a well maintained campground.

Beautiful campground. The sites are private and most have a view of the lake. It was quiet with multiple clean bathrooms some of which have free showers. We visited mid week in late April so I’m sure it was less busy then in the summer.

Campsite was nice but there was another group of 10-15 reckless teenagers next to our camping site. They got drunk and partied all night until 6am with loud music on. At 2.30am I couldn’t stay in my tent anymore and asked them to sleep but they were just disrespectful and didn’t care. We had a terrible night with 3 other families and 5 kids. And sad to see how selfish some teenagers are. Too sad.

We usually come here late in the year. The boat ramp situation is sketchy if the water level is down, you really should have 4x4. This year the water level is about as good as I’ve seen it so super nice launch area. Camping is always good and it’s near Angels Camp so if you need something from town, it’s easy but you still feel like you’re out in nature. Quiet time is 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. That mea... Camping is always good and it’s near Angels Camp so if you need something from town, it’s easy but you still feel like you’re out in nature. Quiet time is 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. That means no music or generators. I feel like a 7:00 AM start time would be more reasonable, particularly for folks with RV camping since most people would want coffee and or breakfast before 8 and might need a generator for that.
