This is the best camp I've ever been there! I can see the Milky Way Galaxy in the sky, shooting stars, Deers, and I caught a 11 Inch fish but I don't know what type. The mountains had a nice view over the distance.

Great campground! Lots of room, bathrooms clean, running water with sink, potable water spout, bbqs, fire pit & quiet! Water low and was quite a hike but so worth it even with a boat. We did see a rattlesnake we chased off and meat bees were annoying while bbqing. Cell service was 1 bar with Verizon but could make calls and text no internet though. Hirz boat ramp only 2.6 miles away. Will definite... Great campground! Lots of room, bathrooms clean, running water with sink, potable water spout, bbqs, fire pit & quiet! Great place for day walks, day fishing, and overnight camping. Check local water levels before going, Shasta lake can get very low. This makes getting to the water a bit of a hike.

Perfectly tucked away from everyone. Great family experience. A little smokey from neighboring fires but overall not too bad. Not too hot with a nice breeze during the day & not too chilly at night. The kids had a blast running around and we didn't have to be concerned with bothering other campers which made it even better for them. The restrooms were clean for being in the middle of the Forrest.... Perfectly tucked away from everyone. Great family experience. A little smokey from neighboring fires but overall not too bad. The restrooms were clean for being in the middle of the Forrest. Bear proof trash cans & bears lockers made it interesting. No bear sights though 😕 but the bees were a little overwhelming. Know better for next time to bring the bee traps. Double sink made washing dishes a lot easier. Everyone had their own space & really enjoyed our weekend. Definitely recommend even if you're not in a large group.
