Honestly, this campground was awesome. First time staying here, but the bathrooms are clean, smell good surprisingly, and the creek running by the campground is super peaceful. They also have dumpsters to throw your trash in. Things have definitely improved since I checked this campsite out last.

While the layout of the sites is wonky, the campground itself is blissfully isolated and quiet. The sites are far apart from each other, and the birding is terrific. No water, but a campground up the road has water so it’s no big deal. No camp host, but again, no big deal. Loved camping there as a way to get away from people!

We camp here twice a year, probably more as a tradition since I've been coming to this area since 1960. We always reserve one specific site because it somewhat separates us from the rest of the campers. This is a 'no-frills' campground, no running water, the bathroom is rustic to say the least - it is a for 'real campers' campground. You get a metal fire-pit ring with grill & a picnic table. The new ring installed this year is actually too tall for our liking, it's difficult to enjoy the campfire while seated around it, you have to stand up to do so. But we love coming here because of the scenery, fishing, many lakes, great hiking & mountain biking, & swimming.
