Bugs sprays and toiletries.

It’s a nice place to relax with family. Nice bathrooms. Really cold at night during summer, but hot during the day. The river goes too fast so it’s kinda hard finding a spot to get in (if you want, realllyyyyy cold water when i went). Also a downside is that there’s no wifi :)

Nice, quiet little campground to take your family for a quick trip. Clean bathrooms and the camphosts are super friendly. Plenty things to do with fishing, hiking or just star gazing. Peaceful and relaxing. Love coming here.

You will arrive at this campground after leaving CA Hwy 108 and driving about 6 miles on Clark Fork Road, a good paved road, suitable for all types of vehicles. The drive takes you through the 2018 Donnell Fire burn scar; the campground itself was not burned and is pleasantly forested. All sites are easy walking distance from the Clark Fork River, a welcoming place where you can fish or wade in the cool water. The flush toilets and potable water spigots throughout the campground make for a nice stay. NOTE: In the summer of 2021, camping fees were payable with cash-only.

No showers, but you can go to Miller’s landing resort just 5 min away to have token-activated shower for $5/5 min. No bear proof metal boxes on site, animals (raccoons) come during dark hours. I was napping in the car when mama bear came with a cub at 4PM and opened my door, then saw me inside and walked away 😬. Mosquitos are aggressive 4-7PM, then temperatures drop and they disappear. Gets cold (40F) during the night (visited mid June 2025), while can be warm during the day. Convenience store and nice eatery nearby, the other one is Miller’s landing, which is also good (menu, prices, affordable).

Otherwise this campsite was great. #19 provides more privacy than any of the other spots in this campground. I saw spots 26-28 have a great view of the water, which was absolutely beautiful at sunrise. The camp host was very friendly and informative. We saw no bears to my relief. This campsite was about 45 min from the south entrance of Yosemite. If not for the mosquitos, I would recommend this campground to others. Maybe it will be better in the dryer summer months regarding this.

The nights were great and having a fire was fantastic!!! The views were good. The lake was very nice. Store close. They did inform us that some road work was going to be done so we would have to take the detour to get back in as well as to let us know to keep ALL FOOD CLEANED UP and in cars as well as any trash to please throw it away. Due to the fact a young bear had made an appearance a couple of times recently. Very thankful for the info as our last night there we were awaken by someone yelling and scaring off a bear which we heard and smelled when inside our tent. All I have to say is DON'T COUNT on your dog barking if a bear is around. All my dog did was to whine to let me know. She stopped when the bear was gone. I would definitely recommend this site and will stay there again with out a second guess.

Our campsite #7, was really big, enough space for 2-3 tents part shade and part sun at different times of the day. Though note that some sites are quite tiny. All sites have bear lockers too. The toilets were the cleanest I’ve ever seen at a campground and they had hand soap too! The only downside was there are no showers at the campground. Showers are available at the boating locations. Loved this place! Host are very friendly and helpful. We stayed in spot #7, it had a fire ring in the middle and a bench on one side, the other side had room for a small tent. The host cleans multiple times per day. There were 4 single bathrooms, faucet and trash right behind our site. No one to left of us and the sites next to us were still enough distance away. Campground is walking distance to forks store and restaurant. It about 10-15 mins from Pine Village and 10-15 away from the boat rental Miller’s Landing.
