Great place to camp with family. We had site 27 and loved it. It has several tent spots, plenty of wiggle room, and water access adjacent to the campsite. Clean restrooms just a short walk away (maybe a little far for the women, but close enough - normally we don’t like camping right next to the restrooms:). Downsides: the park staff don’t empty the fire pits very often - ours was nearly overflo... Great place to camp with family. We had site 27 and loved it. The park staff do not mark off reserved sites- which could cause confusion over weekends when the park is not monitored as often and people just stop by to camp for the night with no reservation. The Sweetwater River falls hike is at the base of the campground. It was a very short and beautiful hike. April 2023 the water was abundant, almost overflowing the banks. Beautiful site! The elevation is just under 4K, high enough to get real cool nights, but low enough to be below the snow line most winter long.
