One of my favorite places. Beautiful west views of the GGB, SF, and the entrance to the Bay. You can watch the fog roll in as the ships come and go. There's lots of shade under the tall eucalyptus and cypress trees. Lots to express on the beach below, the tunnel, and hidden bunkers. The hike down is almost a mile, and almost a mile back up.

I love this beautiful place. The sights to see the nature to love. We usually reserve the day use picnic site or the Campground use. That way we can drive in. It's quite a hike from the main road. The only drawback here is no dogs allowed.

Hidden gem just outside San Francisco with sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and mouth of the SF Bay! 5 campgrounds, quiet beach, sea lions & soothing tide! Great spot for watching boats and shipping vessels going through the Bay. We saw a cruise ship as well!

A small campground (only five sites!) but totally worth staying at. Every campsite has a view of the golden gate bridge and it’s absolutely stunning. You do have to walk your stuff in, but if you’re handicap you can contact a park ranger and they will give you another code for the second gate, so you can drive right up to your site. There are parking spots in front of site 2 and 5 and one closer t... A small campground (only five sites!) but totally worth staying at. There are trash bins at the parking area though.
