About Klamath Camper Corral

Campground in California.

Klamath Camper Corral offers a welcoming home base for exploring one of Northern California's most captivating regions. Situated along Highway 101 in Klamath, this public campground puts you right in the heart of Redwood Country, where some of the world's tallest trees create an awe-inspiring natural cathedral just minutes away.

The Klamath area is renowned for its stunning coastal scenery, magnificent old-growth redwood forests, and abundant wildlife viewing opportunities. The nearby Redwood National and State Parks showcase ancient forests that have stood for thousands of years, offering countless trails ranging from easy walks to challenging backcountry adventures.

Beyond the redwoods, the region offers remarkable diversity. The nearby Klamath River provides excellent opportunities for fishing, boating, and scenic drives along pristine waterways. Birdwatchers flock to this area year-round, as the region sits along the Pacific Flyway migration route, making it one of California's premier birding destinations. Nice hot showers which is a treat as we are traveling to Alaska in a camper van. The redwoods are a short drive away. A very nice place for us to rest for a few days.

A shadow of what it once was. Beautiful location. A few of the more permanent tenants influenced the ambiance. Need to get on a regular grounds keeping schedule—ie: clean the restrooms more frequently than once a week!!
