Campground is rustic, tucked in the woods (lots of pine trees) and accessed by a fairly long paved private road. We were driving our 40ft Class A. While tight, we were able to fairly easily access our site. Site was fairly level, 30amp, which was fine to keep coach cool with one AC unit during day and the temp cooled down in the evening. Others mentioned the low water pressure, and it was low, but not too bad at all. Campground has a stream that has a small waterfall and “swimming holes.” The grounds are dusty, but that’s what you get around here. It’s quiet and dark at night. Good for star gazing. They have a range of rental accommodations and social activity areas on site that I cannot comment on because we did not use them and the campground had low occupancy when we were there. Did not used the laundry as it was a bit too dated and messy for me. Part of the campground seems to be for storage of vehicles (limos, vans, campers etc.). It does make it look a little more junked up than we are used to seeing at other campgrounds. People were nice and check in was quick and efficient.

Your response to my wife, Tonya Ferrari’s, review was both dismissive and insulting. She shared her genuine experience, offering you an opportunity to improve operations and rebuild trust. Instead, you chose to suggest she was mistaken, deny fault, and end with a snide comment about “karma.” That kind of reply is not only demeaning but also raises serious questions about your professionalism. Let’s be clear — we were there and her review was accurate. The claim that you “work around the clock to make things perfect” may sound impressive as a rebuttal, but it’s simply untrue. I can substantiate that with photos, my direct conversation with your staff, and your own website. We booked Cabin C through Airbnb for August 11–12, 2025. When we arrived late on the 11th, the cabin was trashed and appeared to be still occupied. Staff told us the prior tenant had checked out two days earlier and that housekeeping “must have missed it,” meaning it sat untouched for over 50 hours. You offered an “upgrade” to the Western cabin — which we accepted — but it, too, was in unacceptable condition. Examples included hair and debris in the beds, and cobwebs and the smell of smoke throughout. My wife included photos which match the layout and decor of both cabins exactly as shown on your own site. We've got others if you'd like to continue to dispute the accuracy of our contention. Discerning consumers, please take note: I look back at other negative reviews and find this Management's pattern of defensive, dismissive replies to negative reviews quite telling. A responsible business uses feedback to improve. This one has chosen to attack and discredit their guests instead. That’s not customer service — that’s gaslighting. Bigfoot Management, you owe my wife an apology for dismissing her review and experience. If you truly take pride in your campground, start by owning the truth instead of hiding behind slogans. Because if this is how you handle honest feedback, “karma” may indeed take care of the rest. For clarity, if you choose not to amend your false reply to my wife’s review on Google, I’ll be happy to continue this conversation with Airbnb — and, if necessary, with Yelp, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Expedia, Hipcamp, VRBO, and Orbitz. The next step is entirely up to you.

We enjoyed cottage number 3 with the hot tub and found a neat place for the baby to sleep in the larger bedroom, a small alcove in the wall that kids of all ages would probably enjoy sleeping in. We woke up to a surprise snowfall that wouldn't quit and it was magical! It was a low key place that was easy to get in and out of. The small road to the site could use some work but at least it encourages folks to drive slowly. We would stay here again.

The camp store was an absolute slice of home as well. The laundry and shower facilities were very well cared for, and were even stocked with toiletries of every kind. There's a nice little waterfall about a 5 minute walk from the RV sites, with delicious wild blackberries all along the trail. It doesn't get much better. And the air quality was pristine. There had been wildfires a month prior to our arrival this September, but you never would have known. Our two days pause here truly felt like heaven at the halfway point of our month long voyage.

I was expecting to stay with my cousin nearby, but learned at the last moment that I had been exposed to COVID. So, I needed a room in a hurry, and thankfully, Living Springs had a cabin available. The space was absolutely lovely, save for possibly needing more showers for the morning rush. (There was no in-room plumbing, but in every other respect was fancier and comfortable than my own house, including air conditioning.) I didn't look around the camp much, although it was clean and in beautiful settings. The staff was absolutely lovely, and friendly, taking my phoned-in reservation without a deposit, and making me feel right at home. Check in and check-out were a breeze. (I did not end up getting COVID, but did not want put any others at risk. All interactions with staff were while masked.)
