8000 feet. August 23. Some wind wind chill around 45 degrees. I was bundled up the whole time. Cold weather was not comfortable to me. Fisherman's paradise.

Nice PG&E campground. Lots of lakes up here to explore. Even better if you have a side by side, dirtbike, or quad. Fishing was fantastic, caught several large cutthroat trout in a short time.

Clean quiet campsite. Beautiful! The water level this year was WAY down PG&E doing workat Upper Blue Lake campground meant they had to empty the lake. Still enough to get some kayaking in. First come first serve site so better get there early! And I mean like on a Thursday morning for a spot for three weekend. 10/10 will be back next year!
