Kevin the Campground host is incredible!!! Kevin kept me well informed and made us aware of bear activity and I appreciated that. I camped here 3 nights with my family!! We love the Lower Lee Vining campground. The sites are very spacious close to the creek. Fisherman were catching trout in the stream. It is a stunning location. The restrooms are clean. Drinking Water is closeby. We loved walking... Kevin the Campground host is incredible!!! Kevin kept me well informed and made us aware of bear activity and I appreciated that. The Camp host is awesome. Super friendly and tons of help. The campgrounds were clean and easily accessible. I have a 32ft RV and found a beautiful spot that I could drive through. All the limbs were cut back so first time not scratching LoL. $7 if you have a pass $14 if you don't. The creek is strong so if you have a dog keep them on a leash. I am so glad I did. Even the best of swimmers have bee... The Camp host is awesome. Super friendly and tons of help. The campgrounds were clean and easily accessible. Beautiful campground on a creek. No water or dump station but has rustic toilet facilities. Definitely get food from Whoa Nelly Deli at the Mobil station down at hwy 395, trust me. Lee Vining close cute little town with general store etc. Day trip up to Saddleback Lake or Yosemite, or go explore Mono Lake.

Pretty campground with plenty of bathrooms and around 40 campsites, cheep at $14 per night, next to a running river with aspen trees and pines all around. Good clean flat campground with bear boxes at each one, would recommend! Creek is kind of loud at night of you camp right next to it.

The area was great and loved being around the grassy area with the large group we camped with. Felt very safe having the kids run around and play. They found a watering hole that they enjoyed going to every day. Wish I could give 4 stars but the camp host Kevin was not a happy camper. They found a watering hole that they enjoyed going to every day. Wish I could give 4 stars but the camp host Kevin was not a happy camper. One of the nights he decided to "talk" to most of our group while drunk and was very inappropriate. He would come over and tell us to turn off our generators when it wasn't curfew, and even told one of our friends who came later in the week that he was tired of talking to us. Would love to stay here again, would hate to have Kevin again.
