Love the views!!! Great hike for any time of the day, would be a great sunrise or sunset hike. A few little spots to stop on the way up. A well traveled path from the trailhead parking lot to the lower campsite. Tons of great trails back in here!!

Walk or bike in primitive camping with almost no trees, but spectacular views. Access on foot or bicycle by several steep dirt roads. Can be windy since it’s on an exposed ridge. Advanced reservations required for overnight.

Totally worth the hike. You should backpack in and camp here. The hike is not too bad but there are 3 steep sections that could be taxing if you're carrying a lot of gear. The views of the ocean and surrounding area from the top where you camp are incredible.

Cousin and I spent 2 nights at Lower recently and had some great mountain bike trail hopping fun. Site was super clean and as always we made sure to leave it cleaner than we found it for the next crew! Highly recommend
