Nice. Nobody there in February. Vault toilets. Clean spacious sites. No hookups

My daughter and I camped here for two nights in August of 2017 as we were making my way north to observe the Aug 21 eclipse from Oregon. I loved the drive up from Stonyford - a satisfyingly twisty mountain road that got more and more white-knuckling as we went. Lots of great views and guard-rail-free hairpin turns. I was loosely headed for one of the Letts Lake campgrounds but when I ran into Mill... I was loosely headed for one of the Letts Lake campgrounds but when I ran into Mill Valley, I decided that this was the place. We were the only campers there and it stayed that way for the full two days. I occasionally heard some motorized vehicles in the distance (ATVs tearing it up on the mountain trails) but none ever came close enough to see or smell the fumes. These were two quiet and wonderful days and nights. Mill Creek has some dark skies too. Great camping and plan to return to explore the area more thoroughly.
